The Flora at Noosa Resort.

Nature truly is wonderful, even in winter time there are
trees and plants that look beautiful.

It wouldn't be Queensland without Palm Trees there are
dozens of different types, and the certainty is you won't
go far without coming across a few.

I always love "Bird of Paradise" flowers, and the glossy
green of their leaves too.

Down to the tiny Hoya which although small made a
brilliant display.

With leaves this colourful there is no real need for
flowers to get a good display, I got these shots in a
five minute stroll around the gardens of the resort
we stayed at while in Noosa, Queensland.

Flowers.

Some favourite flowers.

I love Fushias, I managed to grow this one, but they don't
like our sub-tropical climate much.

My Mum was a gardener of some talent this is one of her
roses.

Another of Mums she grew magnificent Dahlia's

Gerbra's quite like the Queensland climate, so I manage
to grow some of these

Another one of Mums roses, her garden was always full
of flowers.

Mother Nature, Aussie Style.

Mother Nature really is grand, just a few examples of her diversity.

This little avenue of Jacaranda trees is at my front gate each Spring, makes
being alive a pleasure.

Same GD as before, but Stacey was only 4 years old when this was taken,
a profusion of wild flowers in the Gawler Ranges SA.

Not very far from Fosters Farm.

You make whatever you like from this photo, I see an evil face that would
have been at home in "Lord of the Rings"

It is a Tingle tree, located fittingly, in "The Valley of the Giants" near
Walpole in WA.

The giants refers to the giant Kauri trees that grow there, up to 30 metres
(95 Feet) tall, these are magnificent examples of natures best

I just love this photo, it is the epitome of the Australian bushland.

Taken near Mansfield in Victoria on a recent visit.
